Bobby Moore - World Cup Winner 1966

Bobby Moore played in three World Cups in the 1962 Chile World Cup the Mexico 1970 World Cup but he goes down in England's World Cup history for lifting the World Cup in the 1966 World Cup at Wembley stadium.

Bobby Moore was the backbone of the England team for the period he was at the centre of the defence and brought a calmness to the team in this period and not only was he a brilliant defender but he also turned defence into attack as was displayed in the 1966 World Cup where he was the provider for two of England's World Cup goals.
